Beautiful Nubia shows intention to become Oyo state Governor

Nigerian entertainers have delved into politics and now one of them is eyeing the governorship position. Contemporary folklore singer Beautiful Nubia also known as Segun Akinlolu has expressed his desire to go into politics and make a change in Nigeria.In an interview with The Nation, the Eji Owuro singer said that he will most likely run for governor in the next elections.

January 19, a new king is set to emerge in Ibadan town. In line with the dictates of the Ibadan traditional stool, there is an order of ranking based on the chiefs in the council. The highest ranked chief will succeed the late Oba Odulana.

At the moment, the natural successor to thethrone is High Chief Saliu Adetunji, the Balogun of the Olubadan-in-council.

Bobby Shmurda Refused Bail For The 7th Time

African American rapper Bobby Shmurda's friends and family have put together multiple bail packages in an attempt to get the rapper out of jail, all effort to do so as proved futile as the court keeps denying the rapper of bail.

December 2015, the family came up with the $2 million and put forth a detailed report as to the money’s origins–however that package was denied. Following that, there were reports that Martin Shkreli (aka Douchebag) would be putting forth Shmurda’s bail– of course Shkreli was arrested himself soon after, and likely used the money he was planning on using for Shmurda’s bail on himself (his own bail was $5 million).
